Specialty Classes Descriptions

Absolutely - Absolutely is 30 minutes of an ab workout to compliment your morning workout schedule. Get a start on your day by increasing your core strength

Armed and Dangerous - A thirty minute upper body workout. A class designed to give you the "cut" look for your chest, back, shoulders, biceps and triceps.

Basic Training - An incredible high intensity strength and cardiovascular workout. This class uses a circuit format with stations. Its foundation is based on drills, weight work and plyometrics.

Baby Weight – Want to get rid of that baby weight? Bring your 6 week old baby and your baby carrier for a safe, fun workout and bonding experience for you and your new baby!

Cardio Box – Punch your cardio into shape with our new high energy Cardio Boxing class. Improve your power, speed, balance, and timing as you learn western boxing techniques that will take your cardio to the next level!

Cardio Dance – 50 minutes of dance that will burn through those calories. Learn new moves each week and watch your coordination and fitness improve. All levels are welcome. Come and get your groove back!

Cardio Kickboxing- Cardio, flexibility, and core all in one class!

Girl Power
- This class is designed to empower young women. A combination of Spinning®,Yoga, Pilates, Core, Strength and body sculpting all providing a fun and challenging workout for girls ages 10 -18.

Hard Core/Peace Core - Core strength and flexibility together in one class! Learn the latest and safest ways to strengthen your abdominals and entire back muscles. Proper stretching techniques finish off this class that will be a benefit to all ages and fitness levels.

Hip Hop Dance –
50 minutes of heart pumping dance. Join former U.C. Bearcat dance captain Denise Fenik for a great workout that combines fun and funky dance moves and choreography.

Kickboxing – An alternative form of cardio that also challenges the legs, arms, and abs. Muscular strength, self- defense and a strong heart all from one 55 minute workout. Join us this fall when kickboxing returns!

Lean Legs - Thirty minute burn from the waist down. This challenging class focuses on developing and strengthening the leg muscles while toning the lower physique. It will raise your bottom line!

Mat Pilates Express - Half the time, all the challenge! A half-hour mat pilates class for those looking for a strong and balanced body.

Mat Pilates
- If the strength and grace of a dancer is what you are looking for, this is the place to be. One hour on the mat strengthening the core and building long, lean muscles.

Pre/Post Natal TBS – Certified pre/post natal fitness instructors will help you strengthen and tone your muscles from head to toe to keep up in shape during pregnancy, reduce your recovery period and get you back in shape after the baby arrives. There are many modifications necessary for pre-natal women and post-natal up to 6 months! If you are a mom-to-be or a post-natal mom this class is just for you!

Total Body Sculpt (TBS)
- The ultimate body sculpting workout... A fast paced hour designed to develop strength without bulk. This class uses weights, body bars, resistance bands, stability balls and more.
